Grieving is extremely stressful on your body. Take naps when grieving. Remember, if your body feels tired or exhausted, it’s telling you it needs rest. It doesn’t need caffeine or sugar. The job of caffeine and sugar is to mask our body’s needs.  Loss, death, change, and grieving all cause an incredible amount of stress on your body. Our bodies are not wired to handle stress long-term. It takes a great toll on us physically. Rest more, sleep more, plan more downtime.
Is it time for your nap? Go lie down! You not only deserve it, you need it.
